Walt's Pourhouse is a destination spot for locals and people passing through. Our bar is everyone's bar.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barback to join our team. As a Barback, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked
• Coordinate with bartenders to ensure efficient service to customers.
• Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist in bussing tables and cleaning the bar area as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Busser or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality industry practices is a plus
• Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
